Understand how to sew that cocktail dress but could use a little advice, fitting help or someone to mark the hem?  Have a big project and need room to spread out? Or are you just tired of sewing alone and would love to join other like minded sewers and crafters? Our sewing lounge is available by the hour with an accomplished sewer there at all times and to offer guidance if needed. The usage of the sewing machines, sergers, cutting tables and irons are included in your hourly fee and the tea kettle is always full with mugs available. Open sewing times are listed each month on our website and at the shop but other times can be made available upon request as long as the room is not already booked for a workshop or event. Management does have the right to limit the number of sewers at any given time.

Supplies needed: Sewers need to bring their own projects and supplies; we provide the space, cutting tables, irons, sergers and sewing machines with machine needles and bobbins.

Prerequisites: Ability to thread a sewing machine and make it go forward!

Fee: $10.00 an hour or purchase a punch card for $100.00 for 12 hours (need to use all 12 hours by the end of 60 days from date of first hour used. Larger punch cards are available with a greater discount for those working on large or longer projects. Please set up a time to discuss your needs with Mela.
