If you have never touched a sewing machine before or just want to just refresh the fundamentals this class will get you going in just a 2 ½  hour session. Starting with how to thread a machine, fill and insert a bobbin, sew straight seams, understand a variety of stitches and try your first project. We will go over some of the most common challenges you encounter when learning to sew, how to trouble shoot, making sure that frustration doesn’t get in the way your new hobby. Sewing machines are provided but you are welcome to bring in your own machine.

 Class time: 1 session, 2 ½ hours                                      

Maximum class size: 8 people (perfect for Girl Scout Troops)
