The hardest part of any garment is getting the fit right. It's nearly impossible to fit yourself properly. This is an incredible opportunity to get our Designer, Union Costume Designer and Fitting Master, Mela Hoyt-Heydon to fit your Regency Bodice or In Progress Dress. Just in time for the Jane Austin Evening on Saturday January 27th.

Option 1: Hour 1-Mela will fit you in a muslin based on your measurements (or you can bring your own muslin) to your unique shape. Hour 2- your fitted muslin will be cleaned up and turned into a clean paper pattern.

Option 2: Hour 1- You can bring your "In Progress" Dress in for a fitting. We recommend you have the sleeves off and the neckline unbound. Mela can fit your bodice, mark a hem and answer any other fitting questions you may have. Hour 2- Aja will go over the fitting notes Mela gave you and guide you through the alterations/adjustments.

It's $20 per hour and we recommend you purchase 2 hours for the above reasons. If you feel you can clean the muslin yourself or won't need guidance with the alterations/adjustments then just the fitting hour with Mela can be purchased.

Additional hours can be purchased if you anticipate needing more time or assistance. 

We will be offering these Fitting Sessions over several days and you can buy hours on the days that best fit your schedule.

If you are planning on building a new dress you may want to buy Option 1 and then Option 2 as a way of getting fitting and guidance throughout your dress build.
