Her Majesty's Rose Taught by Arlene Baker
Silk fabric is folded and manipulated with simple hand-stitching to simulate multiple layers of "petals". Sew-on rhinestones embellish the center of the flower and purchased or molded velvet leaves with a single rhinestone "dewdrop" add just the right finishing touch. Flower measures about 4" diameter, excluding leaves. It can be made smaller if desired. Fine finishing, both front and back, is one of Arlene's trademarks. Easy-to-make, project will be completed in class. The uses for this flower are endless.
This exquisite silk rose is fit for a Queen....so go ahead, give yourself the royal treatment and indulge in the luxury.
