Beginning Sewing Series 1/2 (BSBS) Part 2 of 4

Sewing 1-Over the course of four weeks, you will learn how to use the sewing machine to make two starter projects and then make a pair of pajama pants in your size. You will learn how to select the correct size pattern, adjust your pattern to fit and read a pattern for instructions while you sew your pants. The goal of this series is to learn the basics of sewing so you can feel confident to embark on further sewing adventures.

*Sewing 2- Continuing on from your Beginning Sewing Series 1 this series will build and expand on the skills you learned in the first series and will allow you to make new advanced projects. 

**supply and project list will be sent out via email before series 2 begins.

Class time: 4 sessions, 2 ½ hours                           

Maximum class size: 8 people

Supplies needed: 1 ½ yards of cotton blend fabric NO KNIT and matching thread for apron

1 ½ - 2 ½ yards of cotton blend or flannel or fleece fabric and matching thread for pajama pants and a basic sewing kit of shears, seam ripper, pins and chalk. All other materials provided.

Prerequisites: Introduction to the Sewing Machine
